Where does data management fit into a post pandemic economy threatened by cyber crime
With the South African national lockdown, large scale adoption of work from home (WFH) technologies has increased the use of online services, resulting in more activity beyond the corporate network perimeter. This presents fresh vulnerabilities for cyber attackers to exploit. Globally, there has been an increase in cybercrime. Organisations caught in a post pandemic economy cannot afford to be affected by these sorts of attacks and therefore need to look for ways to mitigate these risks. One way is to implement the necessary policies and procedures for their data.
